The United States had 1.9 million fewer workers in 2022 than they did in 2019 prior to the Chinese coronavirus outbreak. Meanwhile, President Joe Biden’s administration has brought two million more foreign workers into the United States.
A new Analysis The Center for Immigration Studies (CIS), shows that nearly two million fewer Americans were employed in the fourth quarter 2022 than in 2019. Meanwhile, two million more foreign-born workers have joined the workforce compared with the same period in 2019.

The analysis reveals that the declining labor participation rate of working-class native-born Americans is a particular concern. “especially pronounced,” It fell to 70.3 per cent at the end last year, compared with 71.4 percent in 2019, 74.8 Percent in 2006, 76.4 percent 2000.
Working-class native-born American men, those without a bachelor’s degree between 25 to 54 years old, had only an 83.7 percent labor participation rate at the end of 2022 — declining consistently since the year 2000.
The Biden administration is focusing only on adding foreign workers into the labor market. This ignores efforts to get native-born Americans back in the workforce. Instead, it adds millions of foreign workers, which increases pressure for working-class Americans to find jobs and secure higher wages.
