Eleven ⁤Passengers Hospitalized After Delta Flight⁢ Hits⁣ Turbulence

ATLANTA—In‍ a⁢ terrifying incident, eleven people on ​a ​Delta Air Lines flight were rushed to the hospital on Tuesday after the plane encountered severe​ turbulence while en route to Atlanta, according to officials.

Flight ⁢175, which had departed from Milan, Italy, was approximately 40⁣ miles (64 ⁢kilometers) northeast of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta ‍International Airport when the ‍crew reported‌ the turbulent conditions, as confirmed by the Federal Aviation Administration. The agency has announced​ that it will conduct ⁤a thorough investigation into‍ the incident.

The Airbus A350, despite the turbulence, managed to land safely ⁢at the airport just before 7 p.m., bringing relief to ​all on board.

Delta⁤ has stated that ⁢eleven passengers and crew members were⁣ transported to the hospital,⁣ although‌ specific details regarding their injuries or​ conditions ⁣have not been disclosed.

The flight was carrying a total of ⁢151 passengers, along with ten flight ⁣attendants and four pilots, as reported by Delta.
