12-Year-Old And 17-Year-Old Arrested In Connection To Florida Triple Homicide, One More On The Loose

In connection with the shooting deaths of three Florida teenagers whose bodies were discovered last weekend, two boys — one of whom was only 12 years old — were detained on Thursday night and charged with first-degree murder. There is still one more adolescent wanted in relation to the murder.

Billy Woods, the sheriff of Marion County, made the announcement on Friday, according to WFTV, saying that the work collaborated with other law enforcement organizations to track down the teens suspected of killing three many teenagers over the weekend. Two children, ages 17 and 12, were taken into custody Thursday evening. A second person, a 16-year-old, is still at large.

Woods stated on Friday that” some of you know him, say where he is, and you need to pull him in.” ” I will track him down, I did see him, and justice will be served.”

According to WFTV, Woods stated on Friday that the murders don’t appear to be the result of a group issue of any kind, but rather that both the suspects and the survivors were connected to them.

According to Woods,” every single one of them was connected to a bunch in some way.”

According to the judge, the offenders obtained the weapons used in the shootings because they were originally suspected of robbing and burglarizing the neighborhood.

Around 11 p.m. on Thursday, sheriff’s’s delegates discovered 16-year-old Layla Silvernail lying in a dumpster. She was rushed to the hospital and was in critical condition until Tuesday, when authorities confirmed she had passed away after being taken off life assistance, according to WCJB.

Around 8 a.m. on Friday night, police answered the phone and discovered the body of an 18-year-old child lying on the side of the road. Nearly five hours later, the body of a third victim — a 16-year-old girl — was discovered in what was later determined to be Silvernail’s’s car. According to The New York Post, the car was partly submerged in a river close to Malauka Loop.

The other two victims’ companies have not been made public.

Although there were few details about the deaths at the time, the Sheriff’s’s Office had previously ruled out the possibility that a serial killer was still at large. Woods identified a” young crew” as the perpetrators of the murders on Wednesday, but he made no mention of any possible motives.

” The detectives also have information that the triple homicide may be connected to what we refer to as” hybrid gangs ,” Woods said at the time. What they are are young criminals.

Let’s’s be honest, Woods said on Tuesday that anyone who associates with a gang has done something wrong at some point in their life, whether or not they have been arrested. It’s’s a gang because they engage in illegal activity, not because it is unicorns and everything else.
