In a surprising turn of events, two of the four co-hosts from The View evacuated the set due to health concerns. The two co-hosts, Sunny Hostin and Ana Navarro, fled the set after testing positive for COVID-19 on Friday.
The women appeared during the first segment of the show and were told to leave after the first commercial break. In addition to the COVID-19 confusion, Vice President Kamala Harris was scheduled for an in-person interview, which ultimately occurred with only 10 minutes left in the program.
“Ana and Sunny have to leave and we’ll tell you why in a couple of minutes. So, shall I introduce the vice president? “Okay, so vice president… no?” Co-host Joy Behar questioned. “…Since this is going to be a major news story any minute now, what happened is that Sunny and Ana apparently both tested positive for COVID.”
Two hosts (vaccinated) on @TheView were rushed off stage during the show after testing positive for COVID-19, following their self-righteous condemnation of the unvaccinated. You can’t make it up.

Fellow co-host Joy Behar went on to speculate the women must’ve experienced a “breakthrough case.”
