A Shocking Case: 28-Year-Old Illegal Alien Poses as High School Student for a Year
A Louisiana high school is currently under review after a startling incident came to light. It has been revealed that a 28-year-old illegal alien managed to successfully pose as a minor and attend classes at Hahnville High School.
The illegal individual, Martha Jessenia Gutierrez-Serrano, is now facing criminal charges for her deceptive scheme. According to ABC News, Gutierrez-Serrano attended the public school as a ninth-grade student for an entire year.
The shocking revelation has led to the arrest of both Gutierrez-Serrano and her mother, Marta Elizeth Serrano-Alvarado. The duo is now facing charges of injuring public records.

The accusations against Serrano-Alvarado involve the use of a fake passport and a Honduran birth certificate to enroll her daughter in classes at the high school located in the New Orleans suburb of Boutte.
According to the sheriff, Serrano-Alvarado had been residing in the United States for a significant period of time after her immigration visa expired.
Gutierrez-Serrano entered the country in the fall of 2021 with the intention of improving her English skills and furthering her education. St. Charles Parish Sheriff Greg Champagne expressed sympathy towards her aspirations but condemned the decision to submit falsified documents to the government.
Remarkably, Gutierrez-Serrano managed to avoid arousing suspicion during her time at the high school. The sheriff stated that she attended classes, focused on her studies, and caused no trouble or disciplinary issues, as reported by CNN.
Based on a 2021 photo, Gutierrez-Serrano could easily pass for a young teenager, according to the sheriff.
The authorities were alerted to this shocking case by an unidentified tipster who suspected that an adult woman was attending high school classes.
In response to this incident, the school is now revising its policies to prevent similar fraud in the future. The St. Charles Parish school district is taking steps to enhance enrollment document authentication processes and modify policies and procedures as necessary, as reported by ABC News.
According to the Center for Immigration Studies, the federal government estimates that over 1 million people, including many illegal aliens, are impersonating U.S. citizens by falsely using Social Security numbers.
This shocking case serves as a reminder of the need for stricter measures to prevent identity fraud and protect the integrity of our educational institutions.
