3 injured during shooting at Towson University

Three people were wounded in a shooting at Towson University in Maryland. Baltimore County Police said the shooting occurred Saturday morning and was an isolated incident. The shooting reportedly took place as a large group gathered at the center of campus.
All three victims were taken to the hospital suffering non-life-threatening injuries. Police confirmed one of the people injured is a student and the two others have no affiliation with the university. Officials said all victims are said to be in stable condition.

In the meantime, the school said resident hall staff would be available to provide support for residential students as an investigation is ongoing.
“Towson University’s Office of Public Safety continues to work closely with Baltimore County Police as the investigation into this incident continues and the victims identified,” said University President Kim Schatzel.
