8 injured, 1 suspect in custody following shooting at Philadelphia transportation station

At least eight people were injured after a gunman opened fire near a Philadelphia transportation center. According to reports, the shooting happened Wednesday afternoon near the Olney Transportation Center.
The victims ranged in age from 17-years-old to 71-years-old. While seven of them are reportedly in stable condition, the oldest victim is in critical condition with wounds to his back and both legs. Police said two guns were recovered at the scene and one suspect is in custody.

“We’re still trying to connect all the dots and determine exactly if that person had any involvement in the shooting or whether or not those guns were utilized in this shooting,” Philadelphia Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw said. “But at this point, we’re still putting all the pieces together.”
Police added there’s a chance there were multiple shooters at the scene. They are reviewing surveillance videos to determine exactly what happened and why.
