WATCH: Man Who Admitted To Pointing Gun At Rittenhouse Derides Teen For Crying On Stand: ‘Like A Child’
Just days after he appeared on the stand, Gaige Grosskreutz went on “Good Morning America” and derided defendant Kyle Rittenhouse for crying as he testified about the moments leading up to a fatal shooting on August 25, 2020.
“To me, it seemed like a child who had just gotten caught doing something that he wasn’t supposed to — more upset that he was caught and less upset about what he had done and what he had taken and the numerous lives that he affected through his actions that night,” Grosskreutz said, the New York Post reported.
“You know, he [Rittenhouse] was not, I believe, in imminent fear of danger for his own life,” claimed Grosskreutz’s lawyer Kimberly Motley, calling the teen an “active shooter.”
“People need to pay attention to the inconsistent statements from the … defendant,” she added.

However, Grosskreutz admitted during the trial that Rittenhouse only fired at him after Grosskreutz had pointed his gun and advanced on the teen. The Daily Wire reported:
Under questioning from Rittenhouse defense attorney Corey Chirafisi, Grosskreutz testified that Rittenhouse fired on him after Grosskreutz had pointed his pistol at Rittenhouse. Chirafisi began the line of questioning with a still image from a video showing the moment Rittenhouse shot Grosskreutz, showing Grosskreutz’s arm being “vaporized,” as the witness said.
Following the shocking testimony, the prosecution team looked visibly deflated, with prosecutor James Kraus even collapsing his face into his hand.

Testifying on the stand Wednesday, Rittenhouse, 18, broke down into sobs while recalling the fatal shooting of Joseph Rosenbaum, The Daily Wire highlighted.
Rittenhouse, detailing the moments before he fired on Rosenbaum, recalled Rosenbaum yelling “burn in hell” to him before Rittenhouse yelled “friendly, friendly, friendly!” in an attempt to calm Rosenbaum. But he was chased.
The teen described feeling “trapped” by Rosenbaum and another man, identified during the trial as Joshua Ziminski, who fired his pistol in the air. Rittenhouse said the man had the pistol pointed at him
