Joe Rogan Beats Dr. Fauci In Thanksgiving Invite Poll

According to a recent poll, a majority of Americans would prefer to host Joe Rogan for Thanksgiving dinner than Chief Medical Advisor to President Joe Biden, Anthony Fauci.

The poll was conducted between November 11 and November 16 by Trafalgar Group in partnership with Convention of States.

Participants were asked, “Who would you rather have attend your Thanksgiving gathering, Podcast Host Joe Rogan or Dr. Anthony Fauci?”

51.3% of respondents said they would prefer to host Joe Rogan over Dr. Fauci, compared to 48.7% who preferred Dr. Fauci.

The majority grew among Republican voters, with 82.9% preferring Rogan over Dr. Fauci. For those with no specific party affiliation, 61.8% said they would rather host Rogan.

Among Democratic voters, however, a large majority (83.1%) said they would prefer to host Dr. Fauci.

Joe Rogan was overwhelmingly popular among poll participants between the ages of 18 and 24-years-old, with 75.9% of that age category preferring to host Rogan. Dr. Fauci was more popular among all other age categories except for 35 to 44-year-olds, who preferred Rogan by just 59.6% to 40.4%.

Rogan famously contracted COVID-19 earlier this year, and received condemnation from the media establishment after announcing his treatment regimen, which included Ivermectin, monoclonal antibodies, prednisone and a vitamin drip.

Rogan later floated taking CNN to court after a high-profile reporter for the network falsely claimed on air that Rogan took horse dewormer to treat COVID-19.

“Do I have to sue CNN? They’re making s*** up. They keep saying I took horse dewormer. I literally got it from a doctor. It’s an American company. They won the Nobel Prize in 2015 for use in human beings, and CNN is saying I’m taking horse dewormer,” Rogan said on his podcast. “They must know that’s a lie.”

Rogan aired his grievance with the network after CNN chief domestic correspondent and anchor Jim Acosta falsely claimed that Rogan was taking a livestock dewormer and other unproven treatments to deal with COVID-19.

“The podcast host Joe Rogan, he came down with COVID. He says he’s been taking the livestock dewormer ivermectin as well as other treatments that people talk about on the internet and so on. Doesn’t have any effect on COVID, obviously,” Acosta said during an interview with Dr. Fauci.

Rogan, host of “The Joe Rogan Experience,” had announced over his Instagram page that he had tested positive for COVID-19 and was undergoing a variety of different treatments. Rogan’s video announcement set off a wave of misinformation among journalists and others about ivermectin, an anti-parasitic drug that is used to treat both humans and livestock.

Rogan said that “multiple doctors” recommended he take ivermectin to treat COVID-19. “They try to make it seem like I’m doing some wacky s*** that’s completely ineffective and CNN was saying that I’m a distributor of misinformation,” Rogan said.

Speaking with CNN’s Sanjay Gupta, Rogan asked, “Why would they lie and say that’s horse dewormer? I can afford people medicine.”

“This is ridiculous. It’s just a lie,” he added.
