Rep. Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.) slammed Joe Biden’s executive order to halt border wall construction. Biden signed the order last week which stopped all federal funds from being used for the wall.
Customs and Border Protection officials have since directed contractors to stop all border wall construction.
Biggs tweeted a video on Thursday which showed him near an area at the Arizona border that is known for frequent drug smuggling.
The Trump administration was building the wall up a mountain range in Cochise County that was known for rampant drug smuggling.

He said the Trump administration directed contractors to build a wall there, but now the area will be even more exposed because of Biden’s order.
“That’s one of the top smuggling spots in this area right now. They built that road all the way to the top of the mountain, getting ready to do the 30 foot fencing to go on up to try and stop the smuggling, but the Biden administration cancelled those contracts for now,” Biggs said. “What you have over here now is all of this equipment, all this machinery was up there getting ready to start that building of that fence. They brought it all down yesterday. All of those machines, all of the folks that worked here, they’re out of work now.”
In a follow up tweet, Biggs said the Biden administration is reversing the progress made on protecting our borders and endangering our nation’s security.
This point is where the border wall ends and the open border begins.
