Coachella and Stagecoach music festivals canceled for third time

Popular music festivals Coachella and Stagecoach have been cancelled again.

Riverside County’s health director made the announcement on Friday. The order called the move “necessary” as the festivals drew in over 100 thousand attendees, making contraction of COVID-19 almost inevitable.

The recent cancellation marks the third time the Southern California festivals have been pushed back since the pandemic began. The festivals usually take place during the month of April.
