European diplomats urged Iranian officials to pick up the pace in hashing out their concerns for a nuclear deal.
On Friday, several senior diplomats warned time is running out to reach an agreement, despite making what they call technical progress on Thursday. The delegates said Iran has agreed to a framework for what future negotiations will look like as they hope to return to talks that stalled back in June.
Additionally, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) director general claimed Iran has allowed cameras back into one of their main nuclear facilities. This comes after the rogue state claimed the original camera and feed were destroyed as part of an alleged attack.
This is important for verification under the Iran nuclear deal, and work will continue to address other outstanding safeguards issues.

“Don’t forget that this is a facility that we know very well. We know the kind of equipment there is, and when you know an equipment and when you are familiar with the production chain…a production line, you know how much this normally produces given the normal circumstances. You know how much has been installed, you know how much they declare,” said IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi.
In the meantime, European negotiators remain confident the time frame for Iran to come back to the bargaining table will be much shorter than this more than 6-month spell.
