Job Creators Network CEO Says Keeping Trump Tax Cuts “Absolutely Critical”

It is “absolutely critical” for small businesses that the tax cuts instituted by former President Donald Trump remain in place, says Job Creators Network CEO Alfredo Ortiz, whose organization is working to make the tax cuts permanent.

Much of the “Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017” is set to expire by 2025, with some provisions ending sooner.

After Trump signed the tax cuts into law, Ortiz told “Just the News – Not Noise” on Thursday that businesses started spending money on “higher wages, hiring more people, and frankly, reinvesting back in their businesses.”

Businesses are currently struggling due to inflation under President Joe Biden, and Ortiz blames the president’s “frankly ridiculous energy policy.”

“It’s absolutely critical that we keep these tax cuts in place,” Ortiz said. “We want to make those permanent. I think it’s critical from a planning standpoint for our small businesses to know that they can count on that.”

A small business advocate, the Job Creators Network celebrated a win earlier this year in their lawsuit against the Biden administration’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate for private sector businesses.
