BLM Gave Cash Grant to Radical Chicago Group That Supports Cop Killers

Black Lives Matter donated $200,000 last year to an extremist black group in Chicago that has public aims at defunding the police and has called cops “pigs.”

Equity and Transformation (EAT), run by Richard Wallace, is an anti-police black activist group, calls officers “bastards” and has publicly expressed support for Assata Shakur, aunt of Tupac, who shot and killed a New Jersey State Trooper.

Wallace has also said that he believes that black Americans are entitled to reparations due to being oppressed by white society.

Tax forms from the BLM Global Network Foundation reveal that EAT was gifted a $200,000 cash grant in 2021. Those funds came from the nearly $90 million it raised after the death of George Floyd.

According to EAT’s About Us page: “Equity and Transformation (EAT) is a non-profit, community-led organization founded by and for post-incarcerated people. EAT was established in 2018 with the mission to uplift the voices and power of Black Chicagoans engaged in the informal economy: the diversified set of economic activities, enterprises, jobs, and workers that are not regulated or protected by the state.”

The group’s leader has said that police, or “pigs” as he calls them, are “hunting” down black people and “use any excuse to up a pole and end our life.”

Wallace also shared posts expressing glee over the destruction of sections of Minneapolis, Minnesota after the death of George Floyd, reports Daily Mail.

Wallace shared a poll that said that 54 percent of Americans said that the destruction of the area was justified, with Wallace posting the article with the caption “only 54%??”

In another anti-police post, Wallace praised Assata Shakur, who murdered a 1973 New Jersey State Trooper. Shakur escaped prison in 1979 and was granted asylum in Cuba five years later.

“Assata Becomes First woman on FBI most wanted… They want to silent our Heroes!” wrote Wallace on Facebook.

Wallace’s shared post also mentions the son of civil rights leader Malcolm X, Malcolm Shabazz, who killed his grandmother by burning her alive in her apartment while she slept.
