Antifa Protester Falls Down Stairs

While protesting outside the West Roxbury Courthouse in Boston on Monday, a member of Antifa repeatedly fell down in a dramatic slapstick routine.

Antifa protester Rod Webber can be seen on video wearing a red shirt as he confronted a far-right neo-Nazi Boston-area group (NSC-131) outside the Boston Courthouse on Monday, whose leader was charged for protesting a drag queen story event, The Post Millennial editor-at-large Andy Ngo reports.

During the confrontation, Webber approached the far-right group trying to make their way into the courthouse and blocked one of their members with his body. Unphased by Webber, the individual proceeded to make his way into the courthouse. During the encounter, the far-right group member slightly brushed his body against Webber’s as he attempted to pass by.

Webber then repeatedly fell in a dramatic fashion, and while on the ground Webber grabs the individual’s leg and tries to take him to the ground, according to the video.

The group of Antifa protesting can be heard on video chanting, “Nazi’s out,” as the group makes their way into the courthouse.

After the first dramatic fall, Rod Webber got back up on his feet and and rushed in to confront the group again, except this time Webber started shoving police officers that were standing outside guarding the courthouse.

As officers prevented Webber from getting closer to the group about to enter inside the courthouse, Webber took another dramatic fall and tumbled down the West Roxbury Courthouse steps.

The video shows that officers did not push Webber so it’s unclear why the member of Antifa decided to tumble down the steps.

According to the video, police officers arrested Webber after he sprung back up from his slapstick fall and confronted police officers for the second time.

Christopher Hood Jr., 23, leader of the neo-Nazi Boston-area group NSC-131, was charged with disturbing the peace (affray) after allegedly getting into physical confrontations with Antifa on Saturday who came to shut down an anti-drag queen story hour protest in Jamaica Plain, Boston, according to Boston Globe.

Hood Jr. pleaded “not guilty” and was released on personal recognizance. However, the outlet reports that Judge Kathleen M. Coffey warned Hood that if he gets any more additional arrests then he serve jail time.

Prosecutors dropped charges against the two members of Antifa that were involved in Saturday’s confrontation.

According to Boston Globe, Roderick “Rod” Webber, 48, was arrested for allegedly striking Boston police Captain John Hughes on the steps of the courthouse and was later released after pleading not guilty to assault and battery and disorderly conduct.
