Trump Drops Biggest 2024 Hint Yet
Former President Donald Trump said “I will probably have to do it again” in regards to running for president in 2024. But first, he said, the GOP have to win the midterm elections.
The Robstown, Texas rally was packed with supporters waving “Save America” signs and bursting into renditions of the national anthem, “USA!” and “let’s go Brandon.”
Trump stumped for the candidates he endorsed in Texas on Saturday night, including Dan Patrick for Lt. Governor and Ken Paxton for Attorney General.
“This is a protest,” Trump said of the assembled crowd.
Supporters and haters alike have been sitting on the edge of their seats waiting to see if Trump will announce his candidacy for president in 2024.
Others on the GOP side have made their intentions known, such as Mike Pompeo who said he would run weather Trump runs for president or not.
Ron DeSantis’ name has also been mentioned as a potential GOP candidate, though he and his team have insisted that their focus is on Florida.
Trump spoke about the “unselect committee of political hacks and thugs,” and slammed those who sit on the January 6 committee for their hypocristy and partisan bickering.
“All we do is investigate” when they should really have been trying to fix the nation’s problems. During their time on that committee, Trump said, there has been no investigation into the 2020 election, issues of election integrity, or why “Nancy Pelosi refused to use the military” on that day in 2021.
Trump claimed that the FBI “spied on his campaign” and lied to Congress, the FISA court, and media. Trump also touted his own successes during his time as president, including energy independence.
