Tim Allen Gets Good News as Disney+ Renews “The Santa Clauses” for Season 2
Liberals have been trying to “cancel” the miniseries “The Santa Clauses,” which stars the conservative comedic actor Tim Allen, ever since it premiered on Disney + last month. That’s why it came as a welcome surprise today when Disney + announced that the show will be renewed for a second season!

‘The Santa Clauses’ Renewed For Season 2
Deadline reported that Disney + announced that “The Santa Clauses” is being renewed, and that both Allen and Elizabeth Mitchell will be back to reprise their respective roles of Santa and Mrs. Clause.
“This franchise has had a lasting impact for so many families, truly becoming part of their annual holiday traditions,” said Disney Branded Television president Ayo Davis.
“Bringing it back as a series has been a true gift, and I’m grateful to our producing partners at 20th Television and, of course, Tim Allen and team, that we have yet another reason to celebrate this holiday season,” she continued.

‘Scott Calvin Is Back!’
“The Santa Clauses” follows the three Santa Clause movies that Allen starred in over the years, with the first coming out in 1994.
“Scott Calvin is back! After being Santa Claus for nearly thirty years, he’s as jolly as ever,” the miniseries’ synopsis states, according to Yahoo News. “But as Christmas declines in popularity, so does his Santa magic.”
“Scott struggles to keep up with the demands of the job, as well as being there for his family,” it adds. “Upon discovering there is a way to retire from his post, Scott considers stepping down as Santa Claus and finding a worthy successor so that he can become a better father and husband.”

Allen stars in the miniseries with his real-life daughter Elizabeth Allen-Dick, who plays his character’s daughter on the show.
“It was the most amazing thing in the world to see my kid in the summer, and I had very little to do with it,” Allen recently told Fox News.

Allen Returns To Santa Suit
Though it had been 28 years since Allen first put on the Santa suit, he found that not much had changed when it came to putting it back on.
“You know, you get around that suit, and I haven’t changed. It’s become that stupid thing, and it ain’t me,” the former “Home Improvement” star said. “I’m nowhere near as nice as that guy. It’s just amazing how I become that guy, walk on set and people react to it, and I honor it.”
“I don’t make any jokes anymore as I watch my performance, and I literally think I’m better as Santa Clause than I am as anything else because I think for any actor to tease or put on a costume, it’s easy to become that thing,” Allen continued.

With “The Santa Clauses,” Allen was determined to put the “Christ” back in Christmas, even if that meant angering people on the left.
“It originally had a lot of otherworldly characters, and ghosts, and goblins. I said no, this is Christ-mas. Its Christ-mas. It literally is a religious holiday,” Allen told The Wrap. “We don’t have to blow trumpets, but I do want you to acknowledge it. That’s what this is about. If you want to get into Santa Claus, you’re gonna have to go back to history, and it’s all about religion.”

It’s no secret that there is a war on Christmas raging in this country, which makes shows like “The Santa Clauses” few and far between. We applaud Disney + for renewing this miniseries, and we can’t wait to see what Allen does with it in the second season!
