FNC’s “The Five” The Most-Watched Television Show of the Year
Fox News’ Round table display “The Five” has been declared the most watched cable news show of 2022, with an average viewership of 3.5 million, according to Nielsen data viewed by the Los Angeles Times.
Fox’s prime-time program “Fox’s Nightmare” was surpassed by the show.Tucker Carlson Tonight“, which averaged 3.3 Million viewers
Nielsen ratings’ top 10 cable shows are often dominated sports-related, with the exception of one non-sports show at the top “The Five” being Paramount Network’s hit show “Yellowstone.”
Both Fox News and Fox News managed to increase their viewerships from last year. “The Five” The ratings grew by 17 percent, compared to last year. It is broadcast live at 5pm Eastern and 2pm Pacific. It has also been the first nonprime-time cable news show to surpass the ratings.
“The Five” features four conservative personalities, Jesse Watters, Dana Perino, Jeanine Pirro, and Greg Gutfeld, with a rotating chair of three liberal commentators, Jessica Tarlov, Harold Ford, and Geraldo Rivera.
Fox News has made the show a staple since 2011. It is considered to be the only cable news channel where opposing views are allowed to be debated.
An increasingly polarized landscape of cable news can make it difficult to find the right information. “The Five” The network is well-known for its ability to attract a high percentage of viewers who identify themselves as Independent or Democratic. According to the ratings, conservatives are more likely to flock to Fox News than liberals at MSNBC.
Fox News’ liberal competition, CNN and MSNBC, have both seen significant year-to-year declines in 2022. Recent efforts by CNN to center its political alignment under Chris Licht, the new CEO, have been successful.
