NFL Says Bills-Bengals Game “Will Not Be Resumed This Week” After Damar Holli Cardiac Arrest
This week, the NFL won’t resume play between Cincinnati Bengals and Buffalo Bills. Damar Hamlin’s cardiac arrest during the first quarter of Monday night’s game.
“The NFL continues to be in regular contact with the medical team caring for Damar Hamlin, and also the Bills and Bengals organizations and the NFL Players Association,” In a statement, the NFL stated.

“After speaking with both the NFLPA and teams leadership, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell Today, the clubs were informed that the Bills-Bengals match will not resume this week.

“The NFL has not made any decision about the possibility of the game being resumed at a later time.”
The game was suspended following Hamlin’s collapse to the turf during the first quarter.
CPR was administered to Hamlin on the field before an ambulance rushed him to the hospital.

Tuesday afternoon will see the Bills provided an update on Hamlin’s condition.

“Damar Hamlin spent last night in the intensive care unit and remains there today in critical condition at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center,” The Bills made the statement in a statement.
“We are grateful and thankful for the outpouring of support we have received thus far.”
Hamlin fell to the turf with 5:58 left in the first quarter. Bengals leading the Bills, 7-3.
