‘I Miss Him So Much’: Candace Cameron Bure Shares Touching Post About Friend Bob Saget A Year After His Death

Candace Cameron Bure made a touching post about her late friend and former co-star Bob Saget a year after his death.

In a post on Monday on Instagram, the 46-year-old actress revealed that she couldn’t watch videos of Saget after his shocking death on January 9, 2022, but was finally able to on Sunday night.

“I stayed up for hours watching videos of Bob on my phone,” Bure shared with her 5.6 million followers. “Videos I couldn’t watch a year ago because it hurt too much. Last night they made me laugh.”

“They comforted me and warmed my heart,” she added. “I watched them over and over and laughed so hard. I miss him so much and I’m grateful he was my friend for so many years.”

“I love you, Bob,” the “Full House” alum continued, “now go hug a friend like Bob would.”

The “Fuller House” star’s post included photos taken with Saget over the years of their friendship. The first image appears to have been taken on the set of their hit family sitcom “Full House,” which ran from 1987-1995. The other two included a snap of her and the late comedian posing together on the red carpet at an Emmy Awards show.

Following Saget’s death, Bure was one of many celebrities who reacted on social media.

“Thirty-five years ago, we came together as a TV family, but we became a real family,” Bure captioned her Instagram post at the time. “And now we grieve as a family. Bob made us laugh until we cried. Now our tears flow in sadness, but also with gratitude for all the beautiful memories of our sweet, kind, hilarious, cherished Bob.”

“He was a brother to us guys, a father to us girls and a friend to all of us,” she added. “Bob, we love you dearly. We ask in Bob’s honor, hug the people you love. No one gave better hugs than Bob. ~ John, Dave, Candace, Jodie, Lori, Andrea, Scott, Jeff, Ashley and Mary-Kate.”

Saget died on January 9 from head trauma. He was found dead in his hotel room in Orlando, and his death was ruled an accident. The night before, he had performed in a stand-up show.
