Bills’ Damar Hamlin Released From Hospital Following Cardiac Arrest
Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hollin has been released from Buffalo’s hospital. He was nearly back in Buffalo within a week of collapsing during a game. Monday Night Football Cincinnati game last week.
Hamlin’s doctor William Knight told reporters that Knight accompanied Hamlin to the airport on Monday. Knight claimed that Hamlin was not well. “doing well” Is it? “beginning of the next stage of his recovery.”
Hamlin collapsed on Monday night following what appeared to have been a routine takedown of Tee Higgins, Bengals receiver. Hamlin, who stood up after the tackle and appeared ready to return to the huddle for next play, suddenly collapsed. Buffalo’s medical team worked feverishly to revive Hamlin. CPR was administered for 9 minutes, before the ambulance arrived to take Hamlin away to UCMC.
Hamlin expressed his gratitude to everyone who had supported him.

The game between the Bengals and Hamlin was delayed and eventually canceled after Hamlin was removed. Hamlin’s release follows an unbelievably emotional day for Hamlin and the Bills. Hamlin posted a pregame message declaring his love for his teammates on Sunday. “GAMETIME!!!”
