Chris Harrison Details How Life ‘Deteriorated’ After Leaving ‘The Bachelor’ For Alleged Racist Remark

Former “Bachelor” Host Chris Harrison Reflecting on his exit from the ABC reality TV show,

Television personalities were a mainstay “The Bachelor” from the show’s start in 2002 until his alleged racist He was forced to resign in June 2021 after he received such harsh remarks. Harrison spoke out about the consequences during a Monday meeting Episode His new podcast “The Most Dramatic Podcast Ever.” 

“I lost 20 pounds. I didn’t sleep, I didn’t eat,” The 51-year-old television star spoke of this time in his life. “It was just one gut-punch after the other, and mentally and physically I deteriorated pretty bad.”

The former “Bachelor” The host claimed that people followed him around and parked outside his house for several weeks after his remarks. “I would sneak down the hill of my house through my neighbor’s backyard and my buddy would pick me up,” Harrison recalled.

He also noted that his apology didn’t seem to make any difference in public perception.

“My name became synonymous with this political, lightning-in-a-bottle moment,” He noted that the situation was discussed by both left-leaning as well as right-leaning people.

Harrison expressed his formal regret. “warranted,” Yet, ineffective. 

“I had no problem putting out that first apology,” He stated. “But there was just so much noise at the time, it just didn’t matter. Apologies didn’t matter.”

“Even after that apology, we were still at ground zero,” Harrison continued. “It was confusing and it was scary.”

While the longtime host said he hasn’t been tuning in to “The Bachelor” He swears that there have been no hard feelings since his departure. 

“I will forever be grateful,” He talks about his career-making gig as a host.
