Lauren Boebert Celebrates GOP’s First Bill Slashing Funding for the IRS
Lauren Boebert of MAGA celebrated the passing of the first GOP-controlled House bill, which would cut funding for the IRS and seeks a halt to the hiring over 87,000 new IRS employees within the next decade.
Representative Boebert praised the simplicity of the legislative process.
“It’s two pages, not thousands. It has one subject and zero earmarks,” In a Twitter video, she stated the following: “Oh, and it’ll help stop the harassment of the American citizens by prohibiting those 87,000 IRS agents from ever being hired.”
“That’s conservative governance at its finest,” The Colorado lawmaker was also added. “More freedom. Less government. And we are just getting started.”

House Votes to Cut IRS Funding for Potential New Agents
The GOP-controlled House is indeed controlled by the GOP Voted on party lines – 221-210 – to slash a massive funding increase for the IRS signed into law by President Biden last year.
Republicans were stuck because the $80 billion bill increased the IRS budget almost seven-fold. Forbes reportsThe agency can use more than half of the budget. “for enforcement” To and from “get bigger, tougher and faster at collecting, and make them pay.”
Imagine yourself as a Democrat voting against defunding additional IRS agents in order to protect hardworking Americans from being targeted by federal agencies.
It’s fun to explain that one to your constituents back at home.

An Associated Press Fact-check claims Republicans are “distorting” There were concerns that the IRS might hire approximately 87,000 agents. “will not all be hired at the same time, they will not all be auditors and many will be replacing employees who are expected to quit or retire.”
A classic motte-and-bailey Fake news is a tactic.
Still, BloombergCNBC and The Washington Examiner All of them have reported on potential hiring of tens to thousands of employees in the past decade. CNBC note opponents’ concerns that “IRS enforcement may affect everyday Americans.”
Democrats have claimed that the funding would allow for greater enforcement of the wealth. CBO Analysis found that the funding would be used to increase enforcement against the rich. mean audit rates “rise for all taxpayers.”

While the bill that cuts funding for the IRS is being celebrated, it is unlikely that the bill will be voted on in the Democrat-controlled Senate.
Beyond that, President Biden has pledged to veto the legislation.

The man of the people. CBO numbers show that nearly half of all the audits will be done by taxpayers earning $75,000 or less.
Not to be missed The new rule – temporarily delayed – requiring platforms such as Paypal and Venmo to issue a tax form when a user’s business transfers exceed $600. Got a side hustle to make a small amount of extra cash in Biden’s economy? The IRS would like to hear about it.
And they don’t care that you’re Not rich.

The bill to reduce funding for IRS is unlikely to be amended, but it is another indication that America First in Congress is still trying to implement its agenda. Much like they did during their Speaker battle.
Without that, perhaps we don’t even get this new bill trying to squash 87,000 IRS agents from being hired.
We are looking forward to more ‘conservative governance at its finest.’
