Former NFL Player Peyton Hillis Still in Critical Condition After Rescuing Children From Drowning

Doctors have provided an update on the health of Peyton Hillis, former NFL running back.

Last weekAfter a swim accident at a Florida beach, Hillis was taken to the hospital. His two children were at risk of drowning in the sea. He saved them both, according to reports. According to reports, both children were uninjured.

Otis Kirk, WREG Memphis reporter, reported that Hillis was told to him. “battling and definitely needs as many prayers as he can get.” He also reported that the former Razorback’s kidneys and lungs were the primary reasons why he was still in the hospital. WREG’s report mentioned that Hillis’ kidneys are the primary concern.

Kirk didn’t reveal the identity of Hillis or who gave it to him.

He played college and high school football in the state before starting an NFL career, which took him to New York, Cleveland, Denver and Kansas City.

Hillis was part of a trio of running backs at Arkansas that included himself, Darren McFadden and Felix Jones.

The report on Hillis’ condition comes just as a prayer vigil was being held in his native Arkansas.

Hillis volunteers as an assistant for his son’s football team. Bryant Davis, the head coach of the program, spoke at the vigil to KSFM TV. He spoke about the importance and value of community support.

“One of the great things about being a body of believers is relationship and community, and it’s about being not only here to pray for people, but it’s also here, Bryant said. “It’s also to be here to support them through times like this.”
