‘Indiana Jones’ Actor Ke Huy Quan Gets Emotional During Golden Globes Acceptance Speech
“Indiana Jones” Star Ke Huy Quan became emotional during the 80th’s acceptance speech Golden Globe Awards, He shared his thoughts about how he felt that his time in Hollywood was done after it took him over 20 years to land another role.
After winning Best Supporting actor in a Motion Picture for his role as the surprise hit, the actor at 51 took the stage Tuesday night. “Everything Everywhere All at Once.” Quan thanked Steven Spielberg for giving him his first break. Quan was hired by Spielberg as a child actor to perform alongside Harrison Ford in 1984. “Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom” film.
“I was raised to never forget where I came from and to always remember who gave me my first opportunity,” Quan agreed to share, clearly overjoyed. “I am so happy to see Steven Spielberg here tonight. Steven, thank you!”
“When I started my career as a child actor in ‘Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom,’ I felt so very lucky to have been chosen,” He concluded. “As I grew older, I started to wonder if that was it. “Thankfully, more than 30 years later, two guys thought of me,” He continued to act as he began to feel dizzy. “They remembered that kid. And they gave me an opportunity to try again.”
