Poll: Most Prefer Congress to Lead Instead of Biden

A majority of likely U.S. citizens would prefer that President Joe Biden did it “more of what Congress wants,” While a majority believes the new Congress will perform better than the two previous years,

Rasmussen Reports poll released Friday’s survey found that 52 per cent of likely voters believe it would be a better idea if Biden was elected “does more of what Congress wants,” While only 33% believe Congress should act, the rest are in agreement. “more of what the president wants.”

Rasmussen Reports noted that broken down by party, 70 percent of Republicans, 37 percent of Democrats, and 49 percent of independents agree that Biden should follow Congress’ lead, while 49 percent of Democrats, 17 percent of Republicans, and 30 percent of independents think Congress should follow Biden’s lead.

Comparatively, 4 years ago under former President Donald Trump the 48 percent was said They would prefer that the president did. “more of what Congress wants,” While 41% believe Congress should act, “more of what the president wants.” In the midterm election, Democrats took control of House.

A poll has also revealed that 37 percent believe the new Congress will perform better than in the 117th Congress. Comparatively, 31 percent believe Congress will do less and 22 percent predict it will do the exact same. Ten percent weren’t sure.

The Rasmussen Reports poll was taken on January 5, 8, and 9 with 900 respondents. The poll had a margin of error of 3 percent and a confidence level of 95 percent.
