Lisa Marie Presley’s Burial Plans Are Revealed
The death of Lisa Marie Presley at 54 years old, from a heart attack, has shocked the world. The burial plans for Elvis’ only child, Lisa Marie Presley, have now been revealed.

Presley’s Burial Plans
People Magazine reported that Presley will be buried at her father’s Graceland estate in Memphis, Tennessee next to her son Benjamin Keough, who committed suicide in 2020 at the age of 27.
“Lisa Marie’s final resting place will be at Graceland, next to her beloved son Ben,” Presley’s daughter Riley Keough said in a statement.
Presley will be buried with her son in Graceland’s Meditation Garden, which is also the final resting place of Elvis, Elvis’ mother Gladys Presley, Elvis’ father Vernon Presley and Elvis’ grandmother Minnie Mae Presley. Presley has previously spoken of her future resting place through a song. “Light’s Out” in her 2003 debut album “To Whom It May Concern.”
“Someone turned the lights out there in Memphis,” She sang. “Ooh, that’s where my family’s buried and gone (gone)/Oh yeah/Last time I was there I noticed a space left/Oh, next to them there in Memphis, yeah/In the damn back lawn.”

Presley spoke about her funeral plans the following year in an interview. Playboy Magazine.
“I don’t plan on anything. I’m sure I’ll end up there,” She said it at the time. “Or I’ll shrink my head and put it in a glass box in the living room,” She laughed. “I’ll get more tourists to Graceland that way.”
Priscilla Presley Honors Lisa Marie
Presley’s mother, Priscilla (77 years old), is her survivor. She announced her death last week to the world.
“It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us,” According to Priscilla, Yahoo News. “She was the most passionate strong and loving woman I have ever known. We ask for privacy as we try to deal with this profound loss. Thank you for the love and prayers. At this time, there will be no further comment.”
Official Instagram account for Graceland also addressed Presley’s death, saying, “Priscilla Presley and the Presley family are shocked and devastated by the tragic death of their beloved Lisa Marie. They are profoundly grateful for the support, love and prayers of everyone, and ask for privacy during this very difficult time.”

Austin Butler Speaks Out
Presley was just two days away from her death when she attended the Golden Globe Awards. There, Austin Butler won Best Actor for his portrayal as her father in the biopic. Elvis.
“My heart is completely shattered for Riley, Finley, Harper and Priscilla at the tragic and unexpected loss of Lisa Marie,” Butler told E! News after her death. “I am eternally grateful for the time I was lucky enough to be near her bright light and will forever cherish the quiet moments we shared. Her warmth, her love and her authenticity will always be remembered.”
