Pro Wrestling Star “Jay Briscoe”, Dead at age 38
Jamin Pugh, also known as Jay Briscoe in U.S. wrestling, has died at 38.
Tony Khan, All Elite Wrestling CEO and Ring of Honor owner (ROH) announced the news on Tuesday.
“Sadly, Jamin Pugh has passed away,” Khan shared his thoughts on Twitter. “Known to fans as Jay Briscoe, he was a star in ROH for over 20 years, from the first show until today.
“Jay and his brother Mark dominated ROH, reigning as champions to this day.
“We’ll do whatever we can to support his family.
“Rest In Peace Jamin.”
Jamin Pugh passed away, it is sad. Jay Briscoe was his nickname, and he was a legend in ROH over the past 20 years.
Jay and Mark were the dominant ROH team, still reigning as champions. We will support Jay and his family as best we can.

Multiple websites that cover pro wrestling claim that Pugh was killed in a car crash in Delaware on Tuesday. Although a fatal accident was reported by Delaware police on Tuesday, they did not reveal the identities of the victims.

Ring of Honor posted a statement on their website in tribute to the fallen wrestler.
“It is with a heavy heart that we mourn the tragic passing of Jamin Pugh, known to wrestling fans around the world as Jay Briscoe,” This is the statement. “Our thoughts are with his family, his friends, and his fans.”
Pugh and his brother Mark wrestled as Dem Boys. They won the ROH tag-team title 12 times together.
