Who Killed Violet Filkins In 1994? Police Finally Think They Have The Answer.

When relatives couldn’t reach 81-year-old Wilomeana “Violet” Filkins and Filkins went to Filkins’ apartment in upstate New York on August 19, 1994 to check on Filkins.

To determine if Guyette was involved, police submitted physical evidence from the crime scene again, including an unidentified fingerprint on a wooden coffee-table. Guadagnino stated that three years later, after the COVID pandemic had ended, police finally were able to identify the fingerprint as Guyette.

Guyette was a veteran of the Air Force and worked as a New York bus driver. He also drove an elderly bus. Guyette was never considered a person to be of interest before his ex-girlfriend made the announcement.
