CNN Not Even Pulling 450k Viewers in Primetime

CNN’s average primetime viewership took a nose dive to only 444,000 viewers during the week of January 16, according to reports.

And no, it wasn’t a slow new week. There was also the scandal with classified documents UkraineCNN had plenty of news to report on the turmoil over House committee seats. ‘spin.’

Fox News earned an average of 1.996 Million Primetime Viewers during the week. That’s five times more than CNN.

MSNBC did better than CNN with nearly a million viewers and 943,000 primetime viewers.

CNN managed just 417,000 viewers in a single day, barely breaking 400,000

Fox News has more than tripled this number with 1.387million.

MSNBC was able to do better, but only averaged 629,000 viewers during the day.

Fox News had 256,000 viewers in the 25-54 demographic, MSNBC had 91,000 and CNN had 93,000.

Fox News had 176,000 demo viewers, coming in second at 80,000. MSNBC was last at 69,000.

CNN and MSNBC are failing badly in cable news, which was supposed to be a benchmark for success for 100,000 viewers from the demo, but they’re failing miserably.

Fox News was second in primetime viewership, behind ESPN, MSNBC, and CNN.

Newly-installed Chris Licht was supposed to turn CNN back into a network viewers wanted to watch, but it doesn’t look like it’s working.

CNN, in other words, is a sham.

Maybe it’s because they refused to replace the dishonest anchors responsible for the network’s demise.

As previously reported, Lemon was demoted from his primetime show to save CNN’s failed morning show. New Day was renamed CNN This Morning with Lemon aboard, which led to a disaster that averaged just 3.5 million viewers. 331,000 viewers.

Fox News attracted 180,000 demo viewers and 1.3 million viewers during that period.

Don Lemon lost 65,000 demo viewers.

CNN has been a national joke for quite a while, but now it’s official.
