Paul Pelosi Attack Video to Be Released Today
The San Francisco Superior Court Following a judge’s directive, is scheduled to release audio and video of the Paul Pelosi attack on Friday at noon ET.
Members of the media with a valid credential will have access to footage from the attack former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband Judge Stephen Murphy ordered the release of the materials by the district attorneys office. The materials will include 911 audio calls, police bodycam footage and surveillance video by the U.S. Capitol Police.
The California court The San Francisco Police Department interviewed David DePape, the alleged attacker, and ordered that all investigative materials be released.
Prosecutors presented excerpts of the materials at a preliminary hearing last week.

Multiple news outlets, including Fox News made motions for the release of footage from Oct. 28 attacks, but they were turned down by the court. the San Francisco District Attorney’s office I refused.
The office of the district attorney claimed that making the footage available would encourage misinformation to spread about the attack.

News organizations claimed that releasing the footage was in public interest and would allow media to refute false information spread over the internet regarding the attack.
Judge Murphy sided for the media by declaring there was no reason not to release the footage after it was aired last month by the prosecution, Thomas Burke, an advocate representing news agencies in this matter, told The Associated Press.

Last month, DePape pleaded guilty not guilty six charges, including attempted murder. According to police, DePape claimed that he told them that there was “evil in Washington” Because Nancy Pelosi was second in the line to the presidency, he wanted Nancy Pelosi to suffer. His case remains open.
Nancy Pelosi, a Nancy Pelosi representative, said Thursday to reporters that she hasn’t seen video footage of the attack and isn’t certain if she will. She was in Washington, D.C., At the time of the attack in October last year.
“I mean, it would be a very hard thing to see an assault on my husband’s life,” Pelosi stated this to reporters at Capitol Hill.
Pelosi claimed that her husband’s recovery was ongoing.
“It’s one day at a time,” Thursday was her last day. “He’s made some progress, but it will be about three more months, I think, before he’s back to normal.”

Paul Pelosi (82) was hospitalized for a skull fracture. After DePape allegedly struck him with a stick, Pelosi underwent surgery.
