Former Lions Linebacker Jessie Lemonier Dead at 25
Former Detroit Lions Jessie Lemonier (linebacker), who was last seen in the league on January 20, 2022, has passed away. He was 25.
The Lions confirmed Lemonier’s death in a statement Thursday. His death was not immediately confirmed.
“We are shocked and saddened to learn of the passing of former Detroit Lion Jessie Lemonier,” The statement was as follows: “Jessie was a great teammate, and a young man who went far too quickly.

The Los Angeles Chargers, Lemonier was signed by Lemonier in 2020 as an undrafted-free agent. In a similar social media statement, Lemonier said: “Gone to soon.” Our thoughts and prayers are with Jessie’s loved ones, family, friends, and colleagues.

Lemonier played in six games for the Chargers during his one-season stint. He recorded two tackles. He was waived in August 2021 and signed by the Lions. He had 15 tackles and 1.5sacks in seven games before he was released last May.
Lemonier was claimed by the waivers Arizona CardinalsThe film was released in August, just before the beginning of the 2022 season.

Lemonier played football in the XFL and was drafted by Arlington Renegades in November. He then signed with the USFL’s Houston Gamblers. He was then sold to the Birmingham Stallions.
