Alleged Paul Pelosi Attacker Calls TV Station to Say “You’re Welcome” After Bodycam Footage of Attack Released
David DePape, Paul Pelosi’s attacker, called a California Fox news station on Friday. He made bizarre and chilling comments that he called an “anonymous”. “important message.”

After he allegedly broke into Nancy Pelosi’s home and attacked her husband Paul with a hammer, DePape is facing state charges for attempted murder and elder abuse, as well as federal kidnapping charges.
Despite saying he didn’t want to jeopardize his case, DePape told KTVU he attacked Pelosi because “liberty isn’t dying, it’s being killed systematically and deliberately.”
The “people killing it have names and addresses, so I got their names and addresses so I could pay them a little visit … have a heart to heart chat about their bad behavior,” He asserted.
DePape also gave a chilling explanation for not going any further.
“I want to apologize to everyone. I messed up. What I did was really bad. I’m so sorry I didn’t get more of them. It’s my own fault. No one else is to blame. I should have come better prepared,” He said.
After the San Francisco Superior Court released audio footage and video footage from the Paul Pelosi attack, DePape called KTVU.

Paul Pelosi (82), was the victim in an alleged hammer attack on DePape (42) in October at the San Francisco home he shares in San Francisco with his wife. Nancy Pelosi was the former House SpeakerD-Calif., was in Washington, D.C., at the time. After the confrontation, Paul Pelosi was required to undergo emergency surgery on a broken skull.
