Tom Brady Announces Retirement From Football: ‘For Good’
On Wednesday, Tom Brady, the legendary quarterback, announced his retirement.
The NFL’s 45-year-old star posted a video message to Twitter for his fans. “I’ll get to the point right away,” During the message, he stated: “I’m retiring. For good.”

Brady then referred to his retirement announcement which was later modified when he decided that he wanted to play football again. “I know the process was a pretty big deal last time, so when I woke up this morning I figured I’d just press record and let you guys know first.”
Brady recorded the message sitting on the beach. “I won’t be long winded,” He continued. “You only get one super emotional retirement essay, and I used mine up last year.”
Brady thanked his teammates, family and fans for all their support throughout the years. “Thank you guys for allowing me to live my absolute dream. I wouldn’t change a thing,” He stated, “Getting emotional.” “I love you all.”
