Twitter Suspends GOP Senator for Posting Hunting Photo
After Sen. Steve Daines (R., Mont.) After changing his Twitter profile picture to one of a hunting trophy photo, where he and his wife pose with a dead American Antlope, Twitter suspended the senator’s account Tuesday for violating the ban. “graphic violence” In its “Twitter Media Policy.”

Daines’s account was reactivated and the senator didn’t delete the original hunting photograph.
Twitter put a notice on the account stating that Daines’ tweets had been removed. “@SteveDaines’s account is temporarily unavailable because it violates the Twitter Media Policy.”
Daines has “hunting has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember.” Senator Frequently Shares Photos On social media, he shares photos from hunting trips with his family.
The NRSC called the Twitter suspension of Daines “disgusting” and condemned it. “insane.”
