Tulsi Gabbard Rips Mitt Romney for Accusing Her of Treason
The opening salvo of its new select committee on weaponization of FBI and DOJ was released by the House GOP. Tulsi Gabrielbard, a former Democrat congresswoman was one of the witnesses. We took this opportunity To show how corruption between Big Tech, the federal government and her was perpetrated.
One time, Gabbard shared the story of a woman approaching her during her 2020 presidential race, asking if she was working with Vladimir Putin. Hillary Clinton was the first to accuse Gabbard. “groomed by Putin.” Many years later, Senator Mitt Romney would become president. Almost the same accusationGabbard’s claims were being made “treasonous lies” In response to some of her comments on the conflict in Ukraine.
Gabbard finally was given an official platform from which to respond at the hearing.

Recenty, US Senator Mitt Romney has accused me of treason. A crime that is subject to our laws and punishable with death, I challenged him to prove this serious allegation. What evidence was it based upon? There was no explanation, no evidence or response and no apology.
These accusations are often ignored. “well hey, it’s politics, people say things about each other all the time.” But that may be easy for some of you to say, but for somebody who wears the uniform, this is serious, and it’s serious not only to me but to my fellow servicemembers and veterans, every one of us making a decision at some point in our lives to raise our right hand, prepared and volunteering to lay our life down for this country.
What does that actually mean in real life? It means that we need to be at peace with the possibility of never coming home before we go on deployment. It involves writing letters to loved ones to try and find the right words (end clips).
I don’t care what one may think of Gabbard’s foreign policy views, what Romney did was disgusting and childish. It was a clear sign that some US senators are not as mature as my seven-year-old. It isn’t. “treasonous” for an American citizen to opine about a foreign war that doesn’t even directly involve the United States. It was absurd and defamatory to use such language, even though Gabbard is a public figure that would render it pointless to file a lawsuit.
The word “treason” It is often misunderstood by both sides, but has a real definition. It is used to offer comfort and aid to an enemy country that the United States has declared war on. Commenting on the existence of biolabs (which most people assume Romney meant) does not mean that the United States is offering comfort or aid.
Romney’s goal was clear: He wanted to quell Gabbard’s speech by accusing her of a crime punishable by death. Gabbard served in the military and continues to do so. Romney has not worn the uniform. That’s not to say you must have served to criticize someone who has, but it is to say that you probably shouldn’t be accusing someone who put their money where their mouth is of treason. You’d think a US senator could have that basic level of decency.
The senator from Utah is a big talker when he’s facing right-leaning ideological opponents (a place Gabbard apparently resides now, at least partially). He’ll cause a scene over George Santos or trash Tulsi Gabbard, but he’s nowhere to be found when Republicans need a champion to stand up to the harmful excesses of the left. Romney is the worst type of politician. He’s a spineless former Democrat who seeks affirmation from the mainstream media over accomplishing anything substantial for the party he claims to represent. I’d take one Tulsi Gabbard over 10 Mitt Romneys.
