Nets’ Cam Thomas Apologizes After Jokingly Saying “No Homo,” NBA Fines Him $40K
Brooklyn Nets NBA fined Cam Thomas $40,000 after he used the basketball ball. “derogatory and disparaging language” Following the Nets’ win of 116-105 over the Chicago Bulls, a post-game interview was conducted.

“We may not be the best trade package, but we’re the best-looking. And the Nets needed some help in that department,” Dinwiddie stated earlier this week.
“We already had good-looking guys, no homo,” Thomas said Thursday night.

The comment prompted TNT’s Jared Greenberg to point out the obvious.

Thomas apologized for the game via social media.
“I want to apologize for the insensitive word I used in the post-game interview,” He tweeted. “I was excited about the win and was being playful. I definitely didn’t intend to offend anyone, but realize that I probably did. My apologies again. Much love.”
