Marvel Studios Weakness On Full Display, Company Shifts “The Marvels” Summer Release Date To November
Marvel Studios’ box-office gross are declining while their production budgets have risen. This is due to poor quality that results from identity politics and evil woke ideology.
Disney executives and Marvel Studios claim diversity is their strength. They will push for the woke ideology at all costs. But the company is fleeing a summer movie release for Captain Marvel. The Marvels.
Twitter announcement by the company that the film will move from its previous release date of July 28, 2023 to November 10, 2023.
They tweeted “Higher. Further. Faster. Together. Check out the brand-new teaser poster for Marvel Studios’ The Marvels, coming to theaters November 10.”
The film was originally scheduled to release on November 11, 20,22. Marvel announced the release date back in May, 2021.
The company tweeted: “Take to the stars with Marvel Studios’ The Marvels, hitting theaters in November 2022!”
The film will be moved to July 28th at Disney’s D23 Expo 2022.
A Marvel.com official blog post This summarizes the film presentation at the event. “Fans were also given a special look at scenes from the new movie, which opens in theaters on July 28, 2023.”
This is a move that Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige attempted to hype up by claiming Kamala Kahn steals the show.
Feige told Entertainment Weekly (EW), “I’m very proud of the Ms. Marvel show. I also know — and this is a spoiler — she essentially steals The Marvels, which is coming out [July 28].”
He not only tried to promote the film with Ms. Marvel but he also revealed the movie’s title. Ms. Marvel Disney+ isn’t doing well with the show.
He stated that “It makes me excited that people will, I hope, see that movie and then go back and revisit those shows on Disney+. The fun thing about streaming is they are there forever, and people can keep re-exploring them.”
EW was also informed by Feige that the film is about Feige. “There are fun cosmic elements to it. Marvel comic fans will recognize elements of the Kree-Skrull war. And it’s picking up directly after the end of Captain Marvel 1, not in timeline but in story. We also do that in our upcoming Disney+ series Secret Invasion, and those are two very different follow-ups to that movie.”
“Tonally, they couldn’t be more different,” Feige said. “But there’s something immensely powerful about seeing Monica and Kamala and Carol together in a frame. To me, it’s only akin to the first Avengers movie and seeing the six of them together in a frame. It’s chill-inducing. They’re so great together, and they all have different histories with one another.”
“The great thing about Kamala in her show, and now in this movie, is that she’s not unlike Tom Holland’s Peter Parker in Civil War. She can’t believe she’s with these other heroes, and can’t believe that she finds herself in these places. And that’s fun because we want to be that. I want to be that,” He concluded.
The release date change comes after Disney CEO Bob Iger said the company had to do a better job curating content, specifically naming Marvel Star Wars and Star Wars. This suggests that he may be aware of the fact that production studios have suffered a significant decline in quality.
Iger stated that “Additionally we are going to lean more into our franchises, our core franchises, and our brands. I talked about curation in general entertainment. We have to be better at curating the Disney, and the Pixar, and the Marvel, and the Star Wars of it all.”
He revealed that the company would also be dramatically reducing its costs. “And, of course, reduce costs on everything that we make. While we are extremely proud of what’s on the screen, it’s gotten to a point where it’s extraordinarily expensive. We want all the quality. We want the quality on the screen, but we have to look at what they cost us.”
Iger stated that they will try to cut costs. However, Tom Connors, a film critic and host of the Midnight’s Edge YouTube channel speculated that the reason for the change could be reshoots.
Disney may be concerned that The Marvels will not be able compete with Christopher Nolan’s July 28th departure. Oppenheimer And the Barbie Both movies will be released on July 21st. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem The August 4th holiday is also available.
Disney did not abandon the date completely. They did make the move Haunted Mansion It was July 28th. This seems to indicate that it has more to do the quality of The Marvels You will be better than your competition
November will see fierce competition for the film. Part two of Dune Arrives on November 3rd The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes The debut of the film will be made on November 17th.
