American Medical Association’s Racism Course Is Unscientific Propaganda

Let’s suppose you are a doctor interested in the impact racism has on medicine. The American Medical Association is the largest publisher in medical education products in America, so it’s natural to want to find help there.

An AMA course is available here “Racism in Medicine” Each course includes a video that is worth one hour of continuing medical training. It’s also great that the course is completely free. The smiling, young face of Dr. Emily Cleveland ManchandaWho says:

So tonight, we are going to begin as those of us at the Center for Health Equity always begin each of our talks — with a land and labor acknowledgement. We recognize that we all live off the ancestral lands of indigenous peoples over thousands of years. We also acknowledge the fact that people of African descent have been forced to work for brilliance, energy and labor for over 400 years. We celebrate the strength and resilience that all descendants of Africa and indigenous peoples have displayed in this country as well as around the world. We are all influenced by our ancestors and are called to continue being better in this work.

This amazement leaves you wondering what the heck this has to with medicine.

Of course, the answer is no, but such dogma is part of the woke agenda that the AMA forces upon its doctors. Take a look at the Supreme Court case of Lee v. Weisman The complaint was made by a Jewish father about their daughter’s listening to a nondenominational prayer at her commencement ceremony. The Supreme Court ruled that forcing students to recite a prayer at the commencement of a ceremony was unconstitutional. “subtle coercion,” Even though coercion is more prevalent in schools, it can be used elsewhere. “may not be limited to the context of schools.” The AMA found another way to coerce its doctors with continuing medical education credits.

You can’t argue that there is no such thing as the “racism” The AMA offers no course. The lecturer uses historical misrepresentations to degrade America’s heritage and history, and cites only leftist authors like Dr. Camara. Phyllis Jones. Ibram. X. Kendi. Khalil Gibran Mohammed, Derald Wing Sue. Harriet Washington. Dayna Bowen Matt. Eduardo Bonilla-Silva. Heather McGhee. Isabel Wilkerson is another example of a lecturer who discusses race from a hierarchical perspective. In this scientific presentation, the lecturer does not offer any conservative sources regarding the role of race in American medicine and society.

Scientific Misrepresentations

As if pure propaganda was not enough, she engages in unfathomable scientific misrepresentations. She first describes what she calls “the nested subset” Approach to defining race
