More disturbing facts were revealed in the interview. Brock says:
“They said they would take care of it. When asked what that meant, the school claimed they could not disclose what that would be, but that they would notify the staff and teachers about the incident.”
Brock found out that the school had been involved in a cover-up. Christian’s teacher reached out to Brock to apologize for not knowing about the incident. She said that she would have done all that was necessary to protect Christian if they were informed. Brock said:
“The school told me they told everyone, but they didn’t notify his own teachers. That’s how much they wanted to sweep that under the rug.”
Cheri Belkowitz was Brock’s attorney. She stated that:
“It’s very common in these kinds of cases to offer protection to the perpetrator, but the victim doesn’t usually get the same level of respect.”
Is that possible? How is it possible for a school to allow terrorizing children to continue while shielding the perpetrator from harm? Although it makes no sense, Belkowitz claimed that this was too common in school districts.
“It also makes it very hard for us to find out what has happened, what was done for justice for Christian when we aren’t told what was the punishment received by the perpetrator.”
Brock revealed that Christian’s emotional toll was not just psychological and physical. Brock made the decision to remove Christian from school to ensure his safety, even though he had an order of protection for the perpetrator.
“It’s hard for him because, you know, we’re a military family, we move every few years… and we just got here. He hasn’t even finished a year, and [now we have] to take him out of school. He didn’t want to go at first, he said, ‘I have my friends here, and why should I have to go when she’s the one who did something to me.’ “
Brock is a Mama Bear and her goal is to protect her child. This is a sad reality for the Fairfax County Schools District. The other children in danger will continue to be ignored, obfuscate or cover up the crime.
Fairfax County School District should have been more careful as this case could quickly escalate into a class action suit. This is especially true considering the fact that the victim has allegedly bullied children at the school. Fairfax County wants to forget this incident. How many other instances involving this female were they able to conceal?
As found in the Loudoun County Schools DistrictIt was more than the covering up of sexual assaults committed by a male student who identified herself as a transgender woman. one school And the fallout Is still being Defended. No doubt, Fairfax County officials are now circling the wagons after Brock retained counsel.
