Air Force Confirms Multiple Personnel Files Leaked to Dem Opposition Research Firm

Maybe it is the “weaponization of law enforcement” The panel requires a more detailed brief. The Department of Defense had already admitted to Jennifer-Ruth Green that an individual had improperly leaked Jennifer Ruth Green’s Air Force files, which contained unredacted details of a sexual assault she suffered while serving in her military service. Green was running for the House as Republican.

It turned out that this wasn’t the only file that Democrat oppo-research got. Now Just the News’ John Solomon reports Two House GOP Committee Chairs want to know when criminal prosecutions will start:

In a shocking breach, the Air Force improperly released to an investigative firm linked to Democrats’ congressional campaign arm eleven confidential personnel files. This included one that involved a retired lieutenant Colonel running for the office of a Republican. It detailed how she was sexually assaulted in Air Force. Congress has been informed.

Mike Rogers, Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, and James Comer (House Oversight and Accountability Committee Chairman) are asking for clarification from Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin on how he will prevent future breaches by military personnel’s private information. They also want to know if criminal charges will be brought against him. …

Rogers stated to Just the News that there is more to be done. “It’s abhorrent that a Democrat-aligned firm would do something so despicable as fraudulently obtaining service records. Chairman James Comer and I pressed the Department of Defense for answers on this egregious breach,” He stated.

Solomon has Copy of the letter It was sent last week to Austin. There is no indication that Austin has answered — and perhaps the belated handoff to Solomon indicates that none has yet been received. Rogers and Comer stated that they expected the DoD to take action against the employees and Due Diligence Group (the House Dems’ opposition-research company) and make it clear. They are looking for answers as soon as possible on whether the other files involve Republicans running to public office.

The Office of the Secretary of the Air Force informed the Committee that 11 people’s records were released to the OSAF over a 14 month period, October 2021-December 20,22. This was done to gain access to the personnel records by a private research agency. This news follows a previous admission by the Air Force that it had inappropriately released the OMPF from former Republican Congressional candidate Jennifer Ruth Green to the same research company, Due Diligence Group. 5 The disclosure of details about a sexual assault on a servicemember served to revictimize her.6 This revelation comes after an Air Force admission that it improperly released the OMPF from Jennifer-Ruth Green, former Republican Congressional candidate, to the Due Diligence group (DDG). This highlights not only inadequacy in procedures for securing military personnel files but also raises concerns about possible illegal motives or political partisanship.

The conduct of the Air Force is at most unacceptable. This conduct by the research company is very possible criminal.

It Should The Department of Justice under Merrick Galrland is criminal. But, I don’t believe in them. The DoJ tried to treat parents who dissent at school board meetings like a criminal under his leadership. “domestic terrorism” threat, while failing to enforce existing federal law against demonstrations at the homes of Supreme Court justices — even after an assassination attempt targeting Brett Kavanaugh got thwarted by an alert security detail. Can you picture Garland setting up a criminal investigation of an oppo-research group in the House Dems, even though they were breaking federal law? I can’t either.

Rogers and Comer have done their best to expose the malfeasance. The two sent Austin a request list in that effort. It was due by Monday. To match the former service personnel to the candidate lists last year, they want to see the records and names of the ten other ex-service members. This means that they suspect they will match up with more than Green. Rogers and Comper would like a complete report on all disciplinary actions taken against DoD employees involved in this breach. They also want to know if the Air Force is under criminal investigation.

These are good questions considering the circumstances. If Austin is unable or unwilling to answer them, we can still get a fairly good idea of the truth.
