Guy Who Got His Bicep Shot Off by Kyle Rittenhouse Files Lawsuit Against Him, Wisconsin Police, and Officials
EXCLUSIVE – A man who was injured in an attack by Kyle Rittenhouse in the Kenosha riots of 2020 has filed a lawsuit against Rittenhouse. Wisconsin Fox News Digital has received information about police officers and officials.
Gaige Grosskreutz testified that he pointed his firearm at Rittenhouse during the time Grosskreutz was a teenager. Grosskreutz is now seeking economic losses. “damages for emotional distress, humiliation, loss of enjoyment of life, and other pain and suffering on all claims,” Punitive and other damages.
“Astonishingly, the Kenosha Police Department, Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department, their supervising officials and police officers, and law enforcement officers from surrounding communities did not treat Defendant Rittenhouse or any of the other armed individuals patrolling the streets as a threat to the safety of themselves or the citizens they were sworn to protect,” Fox News Digital obtained the lawsuit.
“Instead, the law enforcement Defendants deputized these armed individuals, conspired with them, and ratified their actions by letting them patrol the streets, armed with deadly weapons, to mete out justice as they saw fit,'” Kimberley Motley and E. Milo Schwab from Ascend Counsel filed the suit on February 14.

Grosskreutz was the third man Rittenhouse shot August 2020. Rittenhouse claimed it was self defense before Rittenhouse, then a teenager, was acquitted from homicide.
KENOSHA PROTESTERS DEMAND RITTENHOUSE TO BE FOUND GUILTY
Following the shooting by the police of Jacob Blake on Aug. 23, 2020, which left Blake paralysed from the waist down, violence erupted at Kenosha. Blake’s shooting only added to the simmering tensions. Protests After George Floyd’s tragic death, the Minneapolis Police Department took his body to the hospital on Memorial Day.
Grosskreutz joined the protests following Blake’s shooting. Rittenhouse took to the streets that night with an AR-style semiautomatic rifle, in an attempt to protect businesses from the turmoil.
Rittenhouse was charged after he fatally shot Joseph Rosenbaum (36) and Anthony Huber (26) and left Grosskreutz with injuries.
Grosskreutz, then 17, testified during the trial that he pointed his pistol at Rittenhouse just before Grosskreutz shot Grosskreutz in an arm.
Grosskreutz claimed to the prosecution that he raised his arms as he approached Rittenhouse, but didn’t intend on shooting the teenager when he pointed his gun at him.

“That’s not the kind of person that I am. That’s not why I was out there,” When asked why Rittenhouse wasn’t shot first, he replied. “It’s not who I am. And definitely not somebody I would want to become.”
Rittenhouse was not found guilty of the charges in November 2021. Fox News Digital reported that Rittenhouse said that the lawsuit was filed as “a little bit of a shock.”
“I guess it came as a shock to why he’s filing a lawsuit because he admitted that he pointed a gun in my face and that he chased me down,” Rittenhouse has been added.
Grosskreutz is the plaintiff in this lawsuit. “approached with his hands in the air to try to ease the situation and stop the killing.”
“Defendant Rittenhouse instead shot Mr. Grosskreutz in the bicep, leaving a gaping wound. Thankfully, Mr. Grosskreutz did not die that day,” According to the lawsuit. “But he must live with the physical and emotional wounds inflicted by Defendant Rittenhouse and the Defendants who deputized and enabled him. The conduct of the Defendants in this case directly caused Gaige Grosskreutz’s injury.”
