All Georgia Democrats’ Angry Arguments Against A Clarence Thomas Statue Fall Apart
Georgia’s state elected officials and local leaders want to dedicate a statue at the Capitol to Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. This statue will be dedicated to a Georgia native who was born in poverty and became an influential member of the Supreme Court. Because Thomas is a principled conservative black conservative whose expertise brings out the inner racism in members of the Democratic Party’s Democratic Party, all Democrat state senators voted against authorizing the statute.
Democrats claim that Thomas’ views are offensive to the black community. They claim Anita Hill’s 1991 accusations of sexual harassment are unfounded and that Thomas has not recused himself from certain cases. They also insist that it is inappropriate to honor someone with an erectile statue while they are still living.
Emanuel Jones, State Senator of Texas, made headlines last week when he called Thomas a liar. “Uncle Tom” Jones’ views and actions that, according Jones, betray his fellow African men to white people.
Thomas is an incredibly independent thinker. He has never given in to racist attacks. In 1998, a black, retired federal judge tried to impose his will on Thomas. To prevent Thomas, who is the largest black-led association of judges and lawyers in the country, invited him to speak to the National Bar Association. Responded In his speech, he stated:
Although my mere presence has caused some to be angry, I am not here to vent or provoke. I am not here to defend my views. I came to assert my right and refuse to be ruled by others. I declare that I am a male, free to think and do whatever I like. I’ve made it clear that I am a judge. I won’t accept the unquestioned opinions and judgments of others.
A justice’s role is not to vote according the will of the American people, or to a specific constituency. It is to interpret the law exactly as it was written, no matter who is in front.
Contrary to the portrayal of black leaders and their allies by the media, most black Americans are actually quite proud. You agree Thomas is a strong supporter of most issues. 59% of black Americans are against affirmative action. Democrats support higher education that allows for racial preferences. On abortion, 81 per cent of black Americans are against third-trimester abortions. However, Democrats support abortion on demand until birth. Eighty-one percent support school choice. However, the NAACP does not support school choice. A majority of black Americans support voter identification laws, despite Democrats insisting that it is racist to require an ID in order to vote. Prominent black leaders attack Thomas, because he exposes their more aligned with white leftists who fund many powerful organizations such as the NAACP.
