Whoopi Goldberg Backs Up Don Lemon In Attacking Nikki Haley’s Age – “You’re 51”

Yesterday, we reported that the CNN host Don Lemon had said that the 51 year-old Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley was past her “prime” Because “a woman is considered to be in their prime in 20s and 30s and maybe 40s.”

Whoopi Goldberg attacked Haley’s aging during ABC Talk Show Monday morning. “The View.”

Goldberg sounds off

Haley was called for a new generation Washington leadership, and Goldberg reacted by saying that “You’re not a new generation, you’re 51!”

“What are you talking about?” Goldberg was also mentioned.

Alyssa Griffin, cohost, pointed out Haley was actually part of a younger generation when she looked at the ages and positions of Washington D.C. politicians. Goldberg refused to back down.

“It’s not a new generation,” Goldberg declared. “She may be younger than most of those people, but her rhetoric is the same. She’s saying the same BS.”

Goldberg didn’t stop there. He also brought up Maxwell Frost, a Democratic Florida Rep., who is the first Gen Z member to Congress.

“I love the young kid, but the only way you get younger people to run, dude, is if you’re out there talking to people saying run,” She said. “Don’t say we need it to look like us. We know that. We know that. We’re not going to vote for people who don’t have our best interests at heart.”

Haley fires back

Hours later, Haley retorted at Goldberg by saying that she expected to be attacked by media when she declared she was running for president but she didn’t expect her age to be the main victim.

“If my age is all they have, it means we’re winning,” She shared her story Fox News. “I’m okay with that.”

Haley stated that she has become accustomed to the racist and sexist attacks of the left over the years.

“It’s not new,” Haley said. “This happened when I ran for governor. I’ve had this all my life. When I was first elected governor, there were some minority Democrats that said ‘she’s not a minority, she’s just a conservative with a tan.’ They will come at me with everything. But none of that fazes me.”

Lemon’s Comments

Lemon, 56, started all of this last Thursday, when he said that Haley, 51, is not in her “prime” According to a study, women in their prime are in their 20s and 30s. “maybe 40s.”

He apologized several hours later but did not mention Haley by name.

“The reference I made to a woman’s ‘prime’ this morning was inartful and irrelevant, as colleagues and loved ones have pointed out, and I regret it,” He tweeted. “A woman’s age doesn’t define her either personally or professionally. I have countless women in my life who prove that every day.”

Lemon made another apology the next day in an editorial call with CNN. Although he did mention Haley, it didn’t seem like he was making an apology to her.

“When I make a mistake. I own it and I own this one as well. I understand why you are upset and disappointed,” According to Lemon, Yahoo News. “I was trying to make the point that no one’s age should define their ambition or potential for success, and I was saying those comments to Nikki Haley.”

This is just one example of the hypocrisy that the left can be. Although they claim to be all for supporting women, this is not true when it comes to conservative women. We are proud of Haley’s courage to continue rising above the deplorable comments from Lemon and Goldberg.
