Sen. Fetterman’s Wife Heads to Canada While He’s in Hospital for Depression

People can manage stress in many different ways.

Last week, Sen. John Fetterman became ill. Injured to the hospital He was suffering from severe depression due to his job struggles. After a stroke, which almost killed him last year, he still has ongoing hearing/language problems. His recovery may have been impeded by the stress from his campaign and then the stress of getting started at a new job. Fetterman’s wife requested privacy at the time.

It’s an obviously sad story. He’s tried to deal with some of it on his own since his wife and kids were home during the week. They are not everywhere.

Fetterman was alone during his weekdays, with the exception of his wife and his three children, who remain in Braddock (Pa.). He is without his family and friends for most of the week. They are the only ones he can trust to put on the mask. Instead, he was forced to perform all day and return to his empty home.

Maybe Fetterman and his spouse decided not to move their children from the familiar school and life they knew. It makes sense, but asking a man struggling with serious problems to take it on his own seems like a difficult decision. He might have been optimistic about his future. This could be part of the cause of his depression.

In any event, I assumed Fetterman’s wife would be holding his hand when he was admitted to the hospital. She appears to be there, but today she confirmed that she was heading in the opposite direction to Canada after hearing the news last week.

I understand the need to avoid the media, but also to talk with your children about what is going on. I am not sure what the point is about going north. Why not drive the long distance to Washington DC for the children to see their father? Fetterman was in some sort of isolation? Maybe. I don’t know. His doctors said that he would be admitted to hospital. A few weeks They haven’t mentioned anything about visitors. I suppose you don’t know how you’ll handle a situation until it happens.

It is worth noting that the tweets were tagged North Bethesda MD as being from Walter Reed Hospital. She is now with him.

Gisele Fetterman’s Twitter posts have already attracted thousands of likes and hundreds supportive messages, so it is likely that many people can relate. I wish the Fettermans a happy and healthy future. They are clearly going through a lot. However, some things like family and heath are more important that politics.
