Red Sox Rookie Tristan Casas Ruffles Feathers With Pregame Naps and Tanning Sessions

According to boots on ground, Triston casas, a young player in the Boston Red Sox, didn’t make many friends his first month in big leagues last season.

Evidently, Casas’ pregame routine that included tan in the outfield and naps in the clubhouse was not liked by many Red Sox teammates.

I can’t imagine this not being compatible with a A lot of MLB veterans!

Mass Live reported that Casas came out of the gates last September FIRING, and was sunbathing naked in the outfield hours prior to his first MLB start.

“Are you (expletive) kidding me?” Unnamed pitchers reportedly asked Tristan for a tan.

Triston Casas, Red Sox rookie loves a good nap.

Objectively, that’s hilarious.

Imagine a 40-year old big leaguer walking around Fenway Park, seeing this young rookie sunbathing on the outfield. Then, a few more hours later, the same kid is spotted relaxing in the clubhouse. He was only hours away from his first start.

The Red Sox were also a disaster last season. They were truly a firecracker from beginning to end. Everyone was clearly in a great mood.

Casas says that this was his pregame routine going back to his minor years. It seems that you must dance with the person you brought with you, right?

The 23-year old admitted it to himself earlier this week, stating that he had appreciated some of the “clashes” His pregame routine was a major cause of.

“I would have been more concerned if they weren’t saying anything to me,” Casas said. Casas said, “I felt like they didn’t think I was going (in the majors) long.” I believe that the fact that they were telling me stuff and the fact that they were getting on my for the little things indicated that they wanted me do things the right way.

“They wanted me to make sure that I’m going to carry on that tradition throughout the years when I stay up here.”

It sounds like Tristan has learned a difficult lesson. I’m glad he’s applying the lessons he has learned to this season.

This is unrelated news. Here’s Triston’s fingernails after spring training last Wednesday.
