Jeff Bezos Blocked From Buying Washington Commanders
Amazon billionaire Washington Post Jeff Bezos, the owner of the Washington Commanders football club, has apparently failed to make a bid.
It is reported that Daniel Snyder, the current Commanders owner, blocked Bezos’ entry to the private auction for his team even though he said he wanted.
Bezos Hire Allen & Company, an investment firm, will assist him in gathering resources to bid for the team’s purchase from Dan Snyder, the current owner.
Breitbart News reported Last November, Amazon founder Alexa, valued at $155 billion, began to look into a bid for the NFL team. This was after Tanya and Dan announced that they might be selling the team.
Snyder reportedly Hire The Bank of America will explore the possibility of selling the team. He hasn’t yet confirmed that he will be selling the team.
According to the New York PostSnyder claimed that he had received a $5.5 billion bid from an unidentified bidder, but this offer didn’t reach the $6B mark. The Devils Owner Josh Harris and the 76ers offered close to the same amount.
Jay Z was also reported. Looking Bezos will be joining the party to become part owner of the NFL franchise. However, it is not known if the coalition is still in place.
However, Snyder may not want to sell the team to Bezos, even though the Amazon king had offered a bid of $6 billion.
According to the N.Y. Post, Snyder “holds a grudge” Bezos was criticized because the team owner is to blame Washington Post for the years of negative stories about him that led to multiple investigations and pressure from league officials to sell the team.
