Vivek Ramaswamy Vows to Shut Down FBI If Elected President
2024 candidate says victimhood culture has broken the ‘inner animal spirit of Americans’
Vivek Ramaswamy has added the Federal Bureau of Investigation to his list of federal agencies he said he would close down if elected president in 2024.
“We are done with the J. Edgar Hoover legacy,” The 2024 presidential hopeful spoke to the crowd at the Conservative Political Action Conference, (CPAC), on March 3.
Ramaswamy, a biotech entrepreneur who founded the anti-ESG firm Strive, has already pledged to close the Department of Education—a call he reiterated during his March 3 CPAC speech.
“It has no reason to exist,” He stated.
Ramaswamy also aimed at the “national divorce” Conservative circles have taken to the use of rhetoric like that.
“Do we want a national divorce, or do we want a national revival?”
He claimed that genuine “national unity” You cannot achieve this through vain appeals to moderation or centrism.
“You get national unity in this country by embracing the extremism, the radicalism of the ideals that set this nation into motion 250 years ago,” He stated.
Ramaswamy reiterated his commitment to end affirmative-action.
“It is a national cancer on our soul, and we are done with it,” He stated.
He also called on the United States to declare their independence from China. Ramaswamy stated that the country should prohibit all firms from doing business in China until the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), collapses. “radically reforms itself.”
“I’m sorry, Henry Kissinger. We’re done with your experiment in America,” He was referring to the famous diplomat who established relations with China.
Criticizing ‘Three Secular Religions’
The 2024 hopeful started his speech by explaining his journey from biotech entrepreneur, to outspoken conservative. This began after George Floyd’s death in 2020. He stated that he was being pressured by his company to support Black Lives Matter.
“I chose not to do it,” He stated.
Ramaswamy is named “three secular religions” He believes these are poisoning American lives.
He called the first one “a…” “woke racial religion” In which identity is everything. Ramaswamy said that Americans’ fear that they would be called racists had allowed their creed to take power.
“When given the choice between pledging allegiance to this new religion and being tarred with the scarlet ‘R,’ that’s when everyday Americans started to bend the knee,” He stated.
The second is about gender and sexuality. He said that it is possible to have two seemingly contradictory beliefs at once.
“The sex of the person you’re attracted to has to be hardwired on the day you were born—it had to be, or else it couldn’t be a civil right—but your own biological sex is completely fluid over the course of your lifetime. It makes no sense unless it’s a religion,” He stated.
He was renamed “the climate religion in America” The third, secular religion.
Ramaswamy affirmed the climate faith “has about as much to do with the climate as the Spanish Inquisition had to do with Christ, which is to say nothing at all.”
“It is about power, dominion, control, punishment, and apologizing for what we have achieved in this country and the modern West as we know it,” He added.
He claimed that victimhood was a pervasive cultural norm. “domesticated” Americans’ “inner animal spirit.”
Ramaswamy claimed he was “all in on the America First agenda,” During election season, Trump welcomed the competition.
“If you can’t handle a little bit of name-calling in this or have some fun, you probably shouldn’t be the person sitting across the table representing this country in front of Xi Jinping either,” He stated.

The biotech entrepreneur embarked on a tour in New Hampshire, Iowa and other early states of the primary and caucus calendar.
Ramaswamy, following a February 23 speech at Iowa’s Capitol said to The Epoch Times that it was his intention to retire. “stepping up and offering a vision of national identity” Through his candidacy.
Ramaswamy is a self-described “hardliner” regarding China and illegal migration. He has not spoken much about trade or the high rate legal immigration.
