Joe Rogan Goes Off On CNN: ‘They Lost A F***load Of Credibility’

Joe Rogan, a podcast legend, blasted CNN this week for their lack of coverage on medication he received during the COVID pandemic.

Rogan spoke out about the drug Ivermectin during a conversation with Russell Brand, an actor and comedian as well as fellow podcast host.

“When you had CNN and MSNBC and all these different cable news network shows, calling it horse dewormer when it was a drug that won the Nobel Prize for the inventor of it,” He said. “It’s a drug that has had billions, literally billions of prescriptions filled. It’s a drug that saved lives and drug that’s on the World Health Organization’s list of essential medicines, and for them, to have the gall, and to have the sheer audacity to just out and out lie to people about what a medication is. And it’s used on humans far more than it’s used on horses.”

Rogan stated that CNN promoted the story because they were “beholden to the people that give them exorbitant amounts of money in advertising revenue.”

“And they f***ing followed in line, and they all piled on. And they lost a f***load of credibility from it,” He said. “Yeah, I mean, if you look at the way people who saw that, how many people saw that, and go, ‘Oh, my God, they’re just lying. They’re just lying.’ Like it, there’s no excuse for that. You can’t imagine a scenario where they really thought I was taking horse medication.”

“And then they changed my filter and turned me yellow on television. Like they took the original video of me and ran through a filter to make me look horrible. It’s really, they did some wild s***. But that wild s*** that they did cost them their credibility, I just don’t think they understood the landscape when they were doing that.”

JOE ROGAN: This is not the truth. CNN has been telling blatant lies. CNN and MSNBC, along with all the other cable news channels called it horse-dewormer. This was the name of the drug that earned the Nobel Prize for Invention. The drug is a medicine that has seen billions and billions of prescriptions fill. This drug saved many lives, it’s an essential medicine on the World Health Organization’s List. It is also a drug that has been used to treat a variety of conditions. This drug is used far more on humans than it is on horses. They called it horse dewormer to make fun of me, because I wasn’t vaccinated. I kicked COVID quickly and that was the reason they didn’t want to hear that story. They were dependent on their trainers. They were dependent upon the companies that pay exorbitant advertising revenues. And they f***ing followed in line, and they all piled on. And they lost a f***load of credibility from it. Yeah, I mean, if you look at the way people who saw that, how many people saw that, and go, ‘Oh, my God, they’re just lying. They are lying. There’s no reason to be like that. Imagine if they thought that I was on horse medication. Imagine a situation where someone thought I was incapable of getting real medication. I’m not wealthy. I don’t lack resources. I am not lost. It’s not like I don’t need the advice of real physicians. It doesn’t make sense. The idea that they could go on television and say, ‘Oh, this conspiracy theorist is taking horse dewormer.’ And that was the narrative not, ‘Hey, how’d that guy get better so quick?’ Three days later, he received COVID. We shut down the entire country for this, and he seems fine. Then they made my filter yellow and put me on TV. It was like they had taken the original footage of me, and then put it through a filter to make my face look awful. It’s really, they did some wild s**t. But that wild s*** that they did cost them their credibility, I just don’t think they understood the landscape when they were doing that.
