Motor Racing-Alonso Says His Aston Martin Is ‘Too Good to Be True’
MANAMA—Fernando Alonso hailed the performance of his Aston Martin as “too good to be true” He qualified fifth in his debut race at the season-opening Bahrain Grand Prix.
He was the Formula One double world champion, and a veteran of 355 races.
Now 41 years old, the Spaniard joined Aston Martin, a Renault-owned Alpine team, after five-times champion Sebastian Vettel died.
